Electro-Pneumatic Motion Control products
Precision Step Systems is a range of electro-pneumatic clutch/brake units for high specification positioning applications where the application demands
- High precision - +/- 0.1mm at 1m/sec feed rates
- High cycling frequency - up to 3600 cycles/min
- Consistent performance throughout unit life time - no need to reset after set no. of cycles
- Flexibility through simple control electronics - no programming expertise required
- Predictable lifetime and maintenance requirements - simple mechanical disk replacement
- The Precision Step Systems range encompasses vacuum-operated clutch/brake (SRA), air-operated clutch/brakes (RotaStep and EasyStep), fast linear actuators (FLA) and electronic controls, sensors and accessories to complete systems for positioning applications. SRA and Rotastep are also available under our 'Service Exchange' arrangement.
- Providing start/stop cycles at up to 3600/min (60/sec) with consistently precise timing, these units achieve position tolerances of +/- 0.1mm at feed rates of 1m/sec.
